I had my first taste of twerk when I attended a hens party. At the end of it I asked where they had classes on the shore they were just around the corner from me. I took this as a sign. I signed up to my first class and I felt so welcomed. I had so much fun. I loved how no matter what age, shape and size you are, you felt a sense of belonging. I love the body positivity in the room. I was a new mum and it was so nice to have a ‘me’ night and get back into some group exercise.! It’s such a positive, friendly and fun environment.
